Northern British Columbia is a mecca for the fly angler, and more so, one who likes to fish with a two-handed rod. Spey Lodge is located central to this mecca and provides some of the finest opportunities on earth to catch steelhead and Pacific salmon with a spey rod. The main lodge located just east of Terrace, sits on the banks of the mighty Skeena River. The Skeena is known to be the home of some of the largest wild steelhead in the world and fills up every year with all 5 species of Pacific Salmon; kings, chums, cohos, pinks, and sockeye. Starting in mid September, Spey Lodge offers an outpost camp which provides access to the Nass River watershed. The outpost camp, known as Boundary Lodge offers all of the same amenities found at Spey Lodge. Boundary Lodge lies on the banks of the Bell Irving river, a tributary to the Nass river and fantastic steelhead fishery.
